I am not trying to cause offence to those who are in genuine relationships with someone older. You can find someone who wants you for you, not your ethnicity, and not preying on who the perceive to be more vulnerable.
Don’t settle for someone who is only doing this because they think you need someone, anyone. In fact in my city the majority of profiles over 60+ say specifically looking for Asian.They only do this because nobody is interested and they think Asian guys are desperate.
I see so so so many old, creepy white men who exclusively look for Asian guys. I cannot imagine this is good for self confidence. I see a lot of profiles that say no Asian in Grindr, hornet and other apps. I preface this by saying I am white and maybe I misunderstand how it feels to be gay and Asian and if so I will delete this and apologise. I have to have a rant about this and this is the best place.
